Pokémon card collecting requires you to be a morning person and that's why it sucks.

I can feel my hyperfixation with Pokémon cards slowing down. I think they're fun with lots of cool art to be seen, but literally everything else surrounding it is kinda awful. ^^; I just wanna be able to buy my own packs at RRP and grow a personal collection my own way. No dodgy deal stuff lol

Feeling a bit too ill to do a drawing or gaming stream tonight - tempted to have a quick chatty session and rip a bunch of packs instead 👀

Hope to be returning to Twitch this weekend. Been a good break, but I've also been ill so will have to see how good I feel. Can't catch a break lol =_=

Awarding Whisper of the Heart 3/5 offends me on a profound level.

So queuing up for Pokémon cards is a weird experience. Some nice people about to talk to, and I always have a laugh with the shop workers, but the shenanigans you see going on outside (queue cutting, buying in bulk, etc.) isn't really my vibe tbh. I think I've been a bit naive about it all lol

If I don't get anything, at least I'll get a story out of it xD

Cheers! If I don't get anything it's fine, I'm just curious to see the action first hand xD

I don't rate my chances, but I might check a couple of places tomorrow morning for a giggle. It's supposed to be a fun thing to share with fellow nerds, but due to the scalpers it's turned into Mad Max out there

The only option now is to become world champ unfortunately

I have been fully suckered into the collecting void and I can't wait for my hyper-fixation to pass (they look so cool though lol)

So apparently a new super special set of Pokémon cards launches this week to celebrate it's 30th anniversary. It will be a minor miracle if I can land a pack of anything in a world of bots and scalpers. I have no strategy, but wish me luck!

Ok so there's a Pokémon card illustrated by Tetsuo Hara (Fist of the North Star) and I kinda need it

Some highlights of yesterday's stream. Doing quite an ambitious art of my OC with a full Pokémon team. Will take a while to complete. Also my internet is working again! (it was an OBS issue)

@ushiogaming.bsky.social been do pkmn art and pack opening. And I want to show my rarest card.

Ushio dressed up in Ash Ketchum's original season one outfit.

A scene from Yugioh. Pegasus has Mokuba's soul trapped inside a card. I replaced Mokuba w/ Ushio.

Close up of the Ushio card art. Ushio wearing Mokuba Kaiba clothes and mimicking the pose (basiclly a sad Mr Beast).

Rearranged my cards a bit, mainly by type with but no other order. I need a better system, otherwise every time I open a new pack I'll have to start over lol

I started collecting Pokémon cards less than a month ago and I'm already overwhelmed with how many cards I have. I need to take a moment to sort everything and have no idea where to start lol
