Summary: After an incident during his apprenticeship that left him missing years worth of memories, Olruggio had long sought any way to fill that gap. If that was impossible, then taking on an apprentice and leaving the Great Hall, he hoped, might at least allow him to move past it. But in the wake of a terrible accident with forbidden magic, and the appearance of a strange witch and young child on the Naakiwan Downs, he'll come to learn that the consequences of that incident were never his alone to bear.

The objections people have to Tore/Sita are so unserious lmao. "Oh, but the age gap-" Toregene's first husband was older than her father, and that relationship was seen as sweet. "Oh, but the power imbalance-" One of Sitara's biggest ships is with the son of her literal owner. Be real.
