recorded two outdoor videos for the first time ever these past couple weeks and while they were a nightmare at points it's also so much easier than i thought and also really rewarding and I'm so excited to keep switching things up

i do think it's funny that by midnight my creative juice is all empty for the day. i go to bed every night feeling like a bad writer, a failed creative, unable to achieve what I'm setting out to do. and then i wake up and there's so much hope again. it's kind of silly.. mornings work wonders

when a book says the title it feels like so much more of a revelation than when a movie does it, like if it's a movie i go ayyy but when it's a book i go ohhh

i literally just want to play final fantasy 7 nonstop and it's ruining my life

000

Juniper Blume @used-books.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

final fantasy 7? ocarina of time? a resident evil film? what is this (checks release dates) the half-decade span of 1997 to 2002?

Juniper Blume @used-books.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

playing ff7 remake and turning to my roommate who has never played a final fantasy game every time a character shows the slightest doubt to say "neoliberalism."

have been playing through Outer Wilds and it's been so fun indulging in the call of the void. like going "hey i wonder what happens if i fly straight into the lava moon" and learning that it makes a fun little sound as i melt into nothingness

one of my favorite parts about writing is when you figure out that first line and everything just starts to come together, it's moments like that where i need access to a computer or hell even a pen and paper as soon as i can find it
