Oh, another fun thing! Figured that the anime Yuru Camp / Laid-Back Camp takes place is this exact area! Many real life locations are in the series, and each of these locations have a unique stamp ✨ It’s all part of a stamp-rally (that Japanese love), so got 18 stamps/stickers is just 2 days~

Departed the temple today and drove towards Mt. Fuji! 🗻 The landscape is really nice, but unfortunately Fuji-san is always covered in clouds >:l Luckily the room at our new hotel has a direct view, so hopefully tomorrow will be a better day 🤞

Speaking of animals, we hiked down from the Mt. Minobu peak and saw cute birds, deers, big toads up close, wild monkeys and even got bit by jumping leeches @_@ Well, guess I should to enjoy wild nature before we go to the deepest streets of Tokyo in a few days!

Been staying at a temple lodge in the Minobu mountains for a few days, and it’s really peak traditional Japanese living 🙏😌 Almost no tourists, temples and monks doing their daily routines, and our room is just next to the temple zen garden with koi fishes, cats and flying squirrels~

And that was 3 days in Kanazawa! Beautiful city with a mix of old districts and modern city. It also happened to be the biggest festival in the city happening exactly this weekend, was amazing to experience their culture first hand 🎊

Also did some adventuring outside the city! Took the ferry to Miyajima island to see the floating Tori gate, and just enjoy the beauty of the island, beaches, temples and deers 🦌 Later we travelled to «Usagi island» Okunoshima which has a mix of adorable bunnies and an old poison gas lab 🐰☠️

Oh, one week in Hiroshima is behind us already! Being in this city was a bit haunting thinking about what happened here, and being able to still see remains of the destruction is an emotional experience.. But it’s a nice city with a lot of delicious food like the Hiroshima Okomomiyaki! 🤤

Completed the 75km Shimanami Kaido trial today! 🚴‍♂️ It took us 7 hours, but we biked through beautiful landscapes and small villages on the way from Onomichi to Imabari~ Relaxed with noodles and anime at the hotel room, before heading to Hiroshima in the morning 🚄

Arrived in Onomichi today! Our plan is to do the Shimanami Kaido bike cycle trail tomorrow, but today we explored the small city and the hills. The narrow pathways are called Neko Alley, as many cats live there, and is filled with painted stones and paw prints everywhere! 🐾 Also stunning views ✨

Last day in Kyoto today! It’s impossible to see everything in a few days, especially when you prioritize gaming conventions instead of temples XD Still had a really fun day, met up with new people, played some games, made chopsticks and took a stroll over a graveyard (temple was closed for the day)

Phew, two days of raving at A State of Trance in Rotterdam was crazy! And out of 40.000 people we also met some fellow furries ✨ The main stage had the most insane stage/arena design I’ve seen, enormous and completely mesmerizing 😵‍💫❤️
