This is easily one of the funniest bits I've ever seen in this show, or perhaps overall, and I must say that this one has no shortage of superb moments. Another one that gave me a good laugh was the train episode.

Last week with alcoholesbians and I had a choice between plum and yuzu sake. I chose wrong.

And this week's episode 8 went with some Kir Breton. After a sip I could tell I probably overdid it on the Cassis, but it's still very sweet and fruity. Inch's medium cider was a good choice as well: it's tart, but not overpowering so it pairs really well. One of my favourite drinks.

I'm also still giggling at the fact that the new girl has a jacket with Nihonium (atomic number 113). Way to announce to the world how Extremely Normal you are.

Today's alcoholesbians were had with a classic: gin & tonic! I've never had G&T before, so this was new. It's nice! Apparently our gin is pretty damn strong (45%) and I had two glasses of G&T so I'm quite feeling quite buzzed!

Due to scheduling, we watched Kamiina Botan last night. This week we went with some disaronno and ginger ale. Felt a little too sweet for my taste. Not enough almond flavour, I suppose? Maybe I should have put more liqueur in. I think I still prefer it with orange juice.

I revisited "I Raised a Black Dragon" and it further cemented my view that pink girlies in rofan manhwa are all unhinged in some way or another.

I'm still super enjoying Meitantei Precure! The last episode was SO fun, I just love the amount of visual humour they packed into it. Also, further confirming that the two together are a tremendous force of chaos.

The moderation is probably best shown in Mai's design: outside her school uniform and the Precure outfits she prefers trousers, but she's still very feminine in a way different from Saki; more than anyone so far she feels outside the various archetypes that many Precure characters embody.

I also heard that Prometheus is the industry standard, but it's also a much harder paradigm to wrap my head around. One day I'll try working with it! In the meantime, I have a dashboard with indoors and outdoors temperature and humidity being logged and charted.

I have finally revived my Steam Deck! I installed a new screen, and then learned that I didn't notice that a ribbon cable connecting the main board to *all the input boards* was disconnected. After that, the Deck woke up just fine in this kick-ass case!

There isn't much to say about the final episode other than the fact that this bit here makes it so much better than Otona Precure. It doesn't treat humanity as a homogeneous whole, but recognises that, if nothing else, there are people actively doing their best to help.
