Take solace in the fact it’s out of stock? I find the Japanese toy/collectable market is generally way overpriced.. but they price it because they know the typical audience will pay it.

There’s also the possibility of getting into the new Moderna mRNA trial in addition to the treatment plan my oncologist has, which has shown some great results. Let’s science the shit out of this! P.S. Fuck Cancer.

The good news is we already have a treatment plan. This is the only spot in my body showing any activity, so we're hopeful we caught it early enough to nip it in the bud. My oncologist is very positive that we can get my immune system recharged and kicking this thing's butt.

Hello Frens my July maintenance scan showed some abnormal swelling in a lymph node under my left arm. A follow-up PET scan picked up a small amount of activity there, so last week I had a biopsy to confirm. Unfortunately, the results weren't what we'd hoped for. My cancer has returned.

Yeah it took me 3 days to get through the last episode…. More than one at a time would be near impossible

Maybe the muppet version of the human centipede?

And we are going to get a muppet episode this season? Are they going to preface or follow up with The Human Centipede? Oy vey.

While I can appreciate it. And I do like the return to a more episodic approach to storytelling… the tonal shifts in each episode of Strange New Worlds can be a bit off-putting to me. Maybe going from Event Horizon to the Hangover wasn’t the best choice for production order.

Nice. So far it’s been fun. It’s an amazing workstation. Gaming performance is “ok” but absolutely great if you play mostly casual games on it.

We have to be careful with the treats and how intense the play time is due to the nature of her GI issue.. but it still great to see her getting back to normal.

Whoo-boy. It’s been a tough couple of weeks. Sadie continued to have some unexpected challenges. But today she’s feeling well enough to want to play.

I find those types of games fun and enjoyable because there is a set task to do. Some people feel like it’s just another job, but I love process automation and continuous improvement so.. it’s fun for me. Especially love the corporate satire / Dystopian HR / deadpan humor of Satisfactory.

It’s been a long time since I played Skyrim, but I remember pushing through the main quest line and was like wait.that’s it? So you are probably not missing out on much. Have you tried games like factorio or satisfactory? It sounds like work, but I find that kind of stuff engaging.

We are still fighting the vestibular disease. She seems to really rally in the evenings. Mornings are rough (can’t blame her) but we got amazing news this afternoon. Sadie is cancer free, the mass was benign. Chad and I were so relieved to hear this. The odds were horrible.

Fuzz @ursusprime.bsky.social · 03/06/2026
Sadie wants to say thanks to everyone for the encouraging words and thoughts. We managed to stand up multiple times on our own without assistance or falling over in the last hour. Much much better than 8 hours ago.

best case scenario would be a clear biopsy and current pathology to resolve itself.we are currently trying to prep ourselves for not great news. Hope for the best, prep for the worst. As mentioned before, these kinds of mass/tumors come back as cancerous 60% of the time.keep your paws crossed for us.

Since we still have the biopsy hanging over us, and the big C is a possibility we decided this is the best course of action. If the biopsy is clear and the vistibular symptoms do not dissipate, we will re-evaluate our options.

Fuzz @ursusprime.bsky.social · 02/06/2026
While an MRi would give us a more definite answer, since we are still waiting for her biopsy results, we decided under advisement from the ER Vet to take her home and try and address the symptoms. If it is vestibular, she will likely mostly recover in time.
110
Fuzz @ursusprime.bsky.social · 02/06/2026
We rushed her back to the ER, after 4 hours or so, the determination is possible vistibular disease (basically vertigo in dogs) possible stroke event or worse case possible brain tumor.

Today, Sadie gave us another scare. Just after lunch, after a perfectly normal morning, she seemed disoriented, and dizzy, she was spinning In place, and her eyes were darting back and forth. She had a hard time balancing and not wobbling.

Again, we are not out of the woods. The odds are not in our favor. Now we hope the universe will send us a little grace and her biopsy comes back ok. Thanks to everyone who reached out and lent support over the last few days. The waiting is always the worst part. 7-10 days before we have results.

Shes an older dog so surgery was definitely a risk, and if the mass comes back as cancerous, her prognosis is not great, but we wanted to give her the chance. If it’s benign she will make a complete recovery. Luckily surgery went well and we are currently waiting to hear when we can come get her.

Long story short, she had an extremely large mass on her spleen that was pushing her other organs out of the way. Other diagnostic imaging showed no obvious visible metastatic disease in chest or abdomen, so we decided to push forward with an emergency splenectomy.

It’s been a rough couple of days, Tuesday we noticed Sadie had become very lethargic, and while conscious, very unresponsive and obviously in distress. We scooped her up and got her to the local Emergency Vet.

I’m not a mango person, had never touched fermented mango in my life, and the only option was a two-pack. Then I actually tried it. Now I want to put it on everything I own. At this rate the second jar is not going to last long enough to be a problem.
