Ratcliffe also closed the Grangemouth oil refinery with the loss of 400 jobs. The plant produced 95% of Scotland's demand for aviation fuel. Now the fuel is imported. Uber-patriot Ratcliffe doesn't give a fuck about the people of the UK. He's only interested in profit.

Historically, Scotland established strong trading routes across the North Sea and into the Baltic. Now, Scottish freight companies and private vehicles have to travel to England if they want access to Europe. Yet another symptom of Scotland's colonial status.
