The thoughts and feelings that go deepest are those that are unspoken. Only I know what they are, but they can't be put into words. I remember all those years I wrote songs...but only a few times did the music have no words. Maybe I was reaching for the wordless...with a melody.

The kinds of books I look for are the kinds that hide in the corners quietly. They aren't shouting "look at me". In fact, they are probably reflecting, not wanting your attention at all. And, ironically, that's what draws me to them.
