Another month is over and wow I didn't expect to have so much to show, but I guess a whole month is actually a long time? 🤣 Gouache Watercolour The Crete project Granulating paints palette Tiny Paintings DIY sketchbook Gouache I feel like I made the most progress with my gouache work this month. It is quite different from watercolour and it took me a while to figure out how I like to work with it.

Tiny Painting Watercolour Gouache I thought I hadn't done much in April, but it turns out that I was pretty busy! So many different things were happening. Tiny Painting I continued with my tiny paintings on 6.5x6.5cm paper using my tiny watercolour palette. So much fun! These days I always have six pieces of paper taped down to have everything ready to go.

This month of course saw me do some changes to my kit, too. I swear I do more painting than updating my setup. 😬 Now my palette is full and I am really enjoying it! I also got into "tiny painting", in my case I am doing 6.5x6.5cm square images. This really suits me as these are just fast to do and I've always enjoyed small things in general.

This second month was a bit less intense. Still, I managed to create eight sketches, so not too bad actually. I did play around with my palette again, and this is probably something that will be a common occurrence. Painting and sketching is great, but so is playing with the tool! 🤣 I ended up in a rabbit hole on YouTube about tiny paintings and couldn't resist and bought a tiny palette and a notebook to go with it.

In January I got it into my head to start urban sketching. The first paintings weren't that great, but I had a lot of fun and improved a lot. Also, new tools to explore!

It's time to look back at 2025. Mainly for myself to review what I even did all year. It's honestly not easy to remember a full year at my age. 😉 The biggest accomplishment (stationery wise) is probably the fact that I managed to finish 38 ink samples this year. That's not as many as 2024, where I finished 57, but then that year I picked out the ones with the least amount of ink, so I had to work harder this year.

We finally have the in depth discussion about LLMs, how we use it, and what we think it might evolve into. We also touch on starting to pay more and more stuff.

Urban gets his AWS certificate and we discuss certifications in general and what they are good for. Especially in a B2B world. We also talk about project management and how no one seems to be in charg...
