Oh, I did that once. I was putting the Dewey Decimal codes on all of them. For some reason, the same number of books didn't fit on the original shelves. Now I have three huge boxes of books unsorted, and stored sorta nearby. It's been 5 years. The topmost books are now tables for other projects.

I actually keep tabs on this for funsies! My current return commissioner data over 13 years and 69 commissions is 45%! When I'm burnt out, I finish the queue, and go on hiatus. So while I've had less comms overall, the people who buy from me know they can trust me to get it done when open.

Seconded! They suck for crossed legs or arms, but everything else? Fantastic. I love mine! There's an 18" Spider-Man toy out there too that artists went nuts for. 67 articulation points and great muscle definition. But it's... insane prices now. A 3D print dupe might be a good route.

I'm the kind of guy who will never waste food, so I have a very wide band of "edible". Coffee, I'll drink 1-6 as long as I can add sugar, I prefer a 4. Toast, 1-5 pref: 3 or 4. Steak 2-6, pref 3, mother's cooking my entire life however, very 6. (She could create a 7 if pushed.)

I've had this for years. It's burn-out from *gestures* w/out breaks. It takes ages to fix if you try to just push through it, because it adds more on top of the "to heal" pile every time you use up the ounce of energy from recooping. Goes from "need a month off" to "need 3-5 years off" real quick. 😭

I have yet to limit myself unduly. Most basic: Ketchup. Most advanced: Sauerkraut, stone ground mustard, ketchup, jalapenos, cream cheese or nacho cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, all on a pretzel or poppy seed bun. I am open to making it worse. Pineapple and bacon additions sound good.

I started using Photoshop in 2003, and swapped off it 10 years later and was shocked, I tell you, shocked at the feel change. Turns out Photoshop is inexact, and sluggish with cursor placement. It feels like drawing through mud, with input delays. I picked up Sai(& Sai2) and have never gone back.

The kicker is it's the same as when I lucid dream, I can feel the same "2ft to the right & forward" sensation, but my dreams allow my eyes to see it as if through the eyes directly, without being translated through an additional 'imaginary sense'. It skips the middle man and just implies it's sight.

Drives me nuts trying to figure out what end I'm on. I very clearly see a detailed red pentagram. I can use all my senses— but not through the same 'circuits'. It's bright and red! I can add textures! But it's displaced up and to the right, I can only see it with my 'mind's eye', not my actual eyes.

P.S. It's uh, against AO3 TOS to advertise or mention your fic writing being a commission. You can do commissions elsewhere! Then post it! You can even dedicate it. But you cannot make *any* reference to it being a commission, because that puts them and the entire archive in legal danger.

Stop burning out. Start exploring. I've got the Jack-of-all-Trades brain, so I'd love to be able to just invest in a bunch of trades, and then lend out the tools as I move on to the next like a library. Give people learning/trial spaces before they commit, and any benefits of my own knowledge!

This is important: You can throw in eggs, in-shell, and they will hard boil to perfection by the time the rice is done. You can also use it as a hot pot for soup if it's a nice cheap on/off one. They only stop boiling when you run out of liquid! I also steam veg and meat w/ rice and sauce. :)
