Yeah america is massive 😄 in 2 days i'm probably 3-4 countries over. That really is a huge perk in living in germany. We are smacked in the middle and have plenty countries around us. Also our salary and cost of living is okay, so it helps making these trips possible

I'm not picky in accomodations, give me a flat space to lie on and i'm good 😅 it all depends... you can travel cheap here, but you could also pay a lot

Going to other countries is also really cheap if you are lucky and plan early. I live in germany and i once could snag a flight to london for 20€ (i was lucky there, it's normally something around 100-150€) and the flight only takes 1.5 hours.

I have multiple cities with venues around my hometown with 30 minutes - 1.5 hours travel time by train. As i'm paying for a monthly card to use them to go to work, all of those trips are covered by that. Long distance trains can be cheap if you plan in advance.

I think especially for big artists it's the greed that makes the prices go up. And they learned ppl are still paying outrageous amounts of money these days

I made a spreadsheet last year. I went to 21 shows in 6 countries and paid for tickets, travel and accommodation roughly 6000€. For some shows i didn't have to travel far and therefore no costs for accommodation.

Not sure if it counts for all artists but i think shows here are actually cheaper. The prices i remember for harry or taylor for example were a lot less here in europe. And it's relatively easy to travel to other countries and i don't have to spend an arm and a leg for it.
