maybe the idea is it’s just an open protocol, people can build on it, etc. if people don’t like a front end, a new front end springs up. And you don’t need economic stake?

I’m not thinking about profit in this case. I just think the concept of “ownership” whether it be a narrow group of people or an equitable distribution of all users necessitates an an economic stake? In the world today, public commons are funded by citizens’ economic stake in their gov with taxes
