Part of the fun was, oh boy what new BS are they dropping in next. And like youd see a recolored early enemy and be like, "no way, this loser?" and it might demolish you, or even seeing the first boss again as a mook or a rare random encounter you might have read on a old forum... like it was nice.

The reality is, what could you do in such a situation that didnt just end negatively for all involved? If your aunt is not someone with power to change things around her, it might have been best to just let her ramble even if you disagree with her for good and factually deniable reasons.

Therapists do not seem to understand that the world has long stopped being "the only friends you have are nearby" most people know someone from another country, and logically global events will impact that.

Most of them are specialized in neurotypical people for one, but also they dont understand the... weight of online interactions. My SO for example lives in America, I cant visit them as a foreigner despite the funds because of my fear of being... well any of the things happening to foreigners there

A lot of therapists, at least from my... 22 years of experience, for one tend to not be on the know of online cultures but also tend to act somewhat aloof to direct messages, as in, not taking what we say as literal.

And like a child, not all of em are brought about into good conditions, or due to fortunate circumstances. Taking care of animals is not easy and not everyone is exactly ready for it. But also I dont feel its wrong to ask for help if you cant do it as seamlessly as you had hoped.

Some animals wont bother, but others will try, same with people... In the end a pet is much like a child you have to take care of, their cognitive abilities seem to resemble one if tests are to be believed.

Id rather not be hungry given the chance, and even if I cant tell for sure ite not just a person lying, now they have food which is good. Would like to be treated likewise if I was begging for food. And in that regard Animals, specially those accustomed to humans, beg for things too.

While this may seem unrelated at first, the same happens in my family/friends with the homeless/beggers, we are more likely, and I personally have done so, to buy food for beggers than give them money directly. Because in our eyes if they really want food, sure if we can provide I dont mind

But also, is it that wrong to ask for help on something? Guilting people into something sure, but "hey if you could donate"... My mentality is "do onto others as youd like done to you", and if an animal asks me for something and I can provide I dont mind.

It is true that asking for help online is a more than likely losing gamble, but people will try anyway. It is possible that some might be doing it just to off load extra costs they could handle, and online you cant always garantee these things arent just scams...

People will have empathy for animals, cats for example tend to just, select a person and you end up having to deal with that. You can give an animal to a shelter but no one wants to be in jail, which sadly is what most shelters are like, usually hoping someone will adopt the animals they have.

At least in my country a lot of pets are animals that existed regardless but we attempted to give a better life to despite our own difficulties. And in that way "just dont get a pet" is more a moral choice than a strictly monetary one.

Most of my pets are dogs that my grandma who has passed never neutered (we neutered them when we could), and being opposite genders some ended up having a litter. no one was willing or able to take the young dogs and simply killing them was a bit fucked up.

A lot of times in taking care of an animal you form a bond with it and when unable to take care of it you may ask for help from others. Personally I am not able to do such due to my personality but also am luckily not in need of such despite the plethora of pets my family has

I feel its sadly a complex issue. A lot of people, me included, got pets out of uncontrolled circumstance rather than out of direct choice, that case exists too but tends to be more for people who are well to begin with.

Going bald is seen as a horrible curse, and those hair like hair patches you can glue to your head are seen almost as if shameful. As someone who is mostly bald and my scalp sadly is always red/faintly burning due to medical conditions, friggin wish I could wear wigs without great discomfort lol

I feel it very much seems to be a white western culture thing cause I am reminded of how people of color have had dreads you could reattach, extensions... and in general wig use is pretty common for many women of color. But from experience white women at most color their hair, and thats the limit.

Nah, just OC stuff, Terraria's sprites for ingots are much smaller, for my... OC world project, I guess, I wanted my own magical material system inspired by games like Terraria, Minecraft etc, with greater inspiration from mods like Avaritia and Project E on how dumb things get.

Personally in moving between social media sites, deleting art due to terms of service changes, a lot of my art disappeared from the web... Still even while at this very moment working on a Neocities art archival site the lack of social media's more noticeable viewership make it kinda feel pointless

Social Media's faster visibility and reactions made posting your work within them usually feel more immediately satisfying for many people. The internet used to be a lot slower so we also expected visibility to take longer, and thus daily posting was rarely in anyone's mind.

Demonstrative shots with lots of detail tend to be single panel pages, lots of action in sequence may end up with 6 for example... Dont be afraid to try things with the pages and panels, what you have as the default currently is fine though.

Panel amount tends to be dictated by how much is being said or done, it can be three panels as it can be a single panel or 6, etc... 3 is perfectly fine for exchanges or events, for back and forth speaking for example or quick actions (windup, action, reaction)

Until like a decade ago comics tended to be made digitally as if they were printed comics having pages be made to be read like on a book. A square size allows most mediums to view the comic without issue so its fine. On the question of panel amount

I feel its fine, but also I feel its important to note that as it is a digital comic you are not forced into any strict structure for composition. If you ever saw webtoons for example they tend to be very vertical due to being primarily made to be read on mobile devices.
