I’ve spent a decent amount of time with Fortune’s Weave and here’s my biggest piece of advice. Unclench your butt and just go for the ride. Don’t stress about optimal play, growth rates, recruiting every character, etc. Play how you want with the characters you like. I promise you’ll enjoy it more.
