I've also been trying to add color to my art by using GIMP(I don't have photoshop :/). Since I don't own a drawing tablet(or pen) I just use the 'paint bucket'. I don't really mind that much, I like the flat-color style. Would I ever get a tablet? No. I much prefer drawing on paper.
