A Unite survey shows that pensioners are suffering real-life effects of the needless cut to winter fuel. They're shivering at home, having to go without bathing or without meals. Instead of picking the pocket of pensioners, the govt should be looking at a wealth tax on the very richest in society.

@unitetheunion.bsky.social want the courts to see what we’re saying, that if the proper impact assessment on the #WinterFuelPayment was not done then the UK government need to go back to the beginning and in the interim pay the #WinterFuelAllowance this year.
