iirc it happened pretty quickly in gcs before the concept art that had kang rumi in it was brought to attention. choi is just very common and the only real competitor i saw was park zoey. kang mira just sounded good to a lot of people i think. a few big fanfic used them and they became fanon.

OH MY GOD SOMEONE WRITE THIS
photo is strawpage ask
idk if this has been sent before but hear me out: zoey finally convinces mira to get matching tattoos but they always seem to chicken out at the last minute. the only reason they don't do so this time is because of a certain purple-haired tattoo artist :]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:7c732s26jtjtz4n6nynkszk7/bafkreieeglvzdxq5dzb35mmjjlh3p2evd7xk7g7f3xdaojjg2dzi7rkyua)
![a scene from the opening paint it blue montage from 2x04 where caitlyn is brooding at the desk but instead of “blue.” repeating over in type writer text it says the following:
this valentine's day i am going to obsess ever vou and what you represent to me. i will fnd you armake you pay for making me feel this way. you will understand just what you've done to me and my heart. m days and nights are consumed by thoughts of you. i am tovalya control of my actions but i feel the control slipping more every time i think of you i no longer can tell the difference between hate and love. this obsession is poisoning my mind and i don't want it to stop. i will make you understand and then live out my life with you. you were meant to be with me and the sooner you get that the faster this ends. we will never spend a day apart. every moment you remain out of my reach is agony, return to my embrace and embrace your place next to me.
[line worth of blank space]
be mine.
