Today didn’t go to plan. An ultrasound meant more pain, and rain ruled out my electric wheelchair plan. So I edited in a waiting room instead of writing in a cafe. Disabled people adapt like this all the time, not as inspiration, but as a practical skill. #DisabledWriter #CreativeAdaptation

Decluttering and creating zones to make life with disability easier led to the discovery of a very broken cat‑approved bookshelf. Solution: a 50% off flat‑pack cupboard for fabric storage, built the same night, but definitely not as fast as this video makes it look 🤣 #Decluttering #Disability

Cosmo's made himself a little fort while I was out 🤣

A black cat is curled up in a cat bed, surrounded by cardboard pieces. A few of the pieces are leaning upright against his bed. There is cardboard strewn across the tan coloured carpet. In the background is some lace curtains over a large window. You can see some grass and a brick wall of a neighbouring house. To the side is part of a dark brown wooden tv cabinet. In the foreground is a maroon recliner footrest.

A white nonbinary person is smiling as they are half lying down on a maroon recliner with a black cat spread over their body it's head using their arm as a pillow. The cat has green eyes and is looking just past the camera. Jacky is wearing jeans a dark blue t-shirt and a checkered blue and black top, their rainbow hair has been cropped out of the photo so that Yoshi is centred in frame.

A rare chance to purchase my #sketches & #AcrylicPaintings for today only at the #SurfArtChristmasMarket at the Arts Centre, 44 Gawler Street, #PortNoarlunga. Today only 10am-4pm (Sunday 14th December). All works have been inspired by local #beaches and animals from the #Adelaide & #Monarto #Zoos.

Framed sketches two are realism of a giraffe's head and a sunbear in graphite on white paper. The other two are modern abstract expressionism of a sunset over the sea and a pink emu in pastel on black paper.

A modern abstract impressionist painting of acrylic on canvas, depicting a sunset at Whitton Bluff, Christies Beach in South Australia. The sky is a deep orange with gold tinged clouds similar to the colours of the cliff face at the bluff.

A selection of different sized acrylic paintings on canvas depicting sunsets, clouds and the sea. An array of paintbrushes sit in front of the paintings as part of the display. The colours are deep blues, and oranges.
