I MISS WHEN DNB MODS USED TO MAKE 3D CHARACTERS SOMETHIMES SEPARATE THEIR OWN BODIES (IDK IT MAKES IT LOOK THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY 3D BEINGS AND NOT JUST A 3D VARIATON OF A 2D CHARACTER) THO WELL IS JUST MY OPINION #daveandbambi #dnbfg

things will keep moving forwards. lancey didnt have any involvement in DDE and its unlikely her contributions for the main DnB series will make it in officially either. do not catastrophize topics surrounding the media and care about the real people instead.

i do see some people saying things like "ohhhh ok so dave and bambi is dead now" and i feel like not only is it incredibly insensitive that is the primary thing they are getting out of it but also gapple has become... ultimately a way smaller part of this community

genuinely I just keep thinking about all the children who are gonna be drawing bandu and weeks, months, even years from now get called a pedophile defender for it. If I can make even 1 less person do that shit to someone then I'll be glad I said something

Nothing about this situation makes it okay to bother, bully, insult, threaten, or otherwise harass ANYONE. This shitshow started bc ppl couldnt resist harassing a teenager for 3 years without even knowing why they were doing it. We don't have to repeat these mistakes

Also want to say this immediately: If you harass anyone for drawing/discussing/whatever bandu or gapple, you are making things worse. Leave everyone alone. If I see this happen I will pushback immediately. Share your thoughts, sure, but if someone posts gapple on their own account, LEAVE THEM ALONE

🙏 its rational to feel angry, hurt, betrayed. Its ok to publically say you feel hurt or angry. Its not okay to publically insult or bully lancey- even regardless of how that effects her, it causes more distress for everyone. If you gotta insult her do it in private with your close friends LOL

be nice. spread information calmly. no harassment. what lancey did was horrible and i get you’re all angry, but saying genuinely distasteful, hateful things to lancey won’t do any good to you or anyone around you.

All I'll say for now is do not engage with people who are being reductionist, inflammatory, or unserious about this situation. Twitter is being Twitter and it's going to be bad for a while. Take care of yourselves and be respectful to the victims.

If you want to get in the habit of using alt text, but often forget to add it, you can toggle a setting in the Accessibility section that says "require alt text before posting". I have this enabled so I don't forget, it's very helpful.

don’t be afraid to speak up about your issues with someone you know. your feelings matter and it’s better to tell them how they’ve been making you feel than silently being in pain. and if they react negatively to it then that’s on them🤷 don’t blame yourself for that cuz you just wanted to be open.
