First thing tomorrow, window washing. Getting drapes and portieres ready to hang because it won't be long until I wake up to wind chills below 30 degrees. Monday morning, in fact. The house is holding a decent temp indoors. 68 inside, 54 and damp outside.

Sunset is getting close. The sun really didn't show up today. It will be sunny tomorrow and not all that cold if I bundle up. I still haven't found the control for the electric blanket. I had it a week ago! I did get my rubber hot water bottle order.

When I saw Canadian bacon in the discount section, I knew what to do. Eggs Benedict. Doubled back and grabbed some English muffins and a lemon and realized I had the makings for a blender Hollandaise at home. Brupper. The dogs got a poached egg of their own with just a drizzle of Hollandaise.

Going somewhere is pleasant again. I downloaded Spotify to my phone and use a cable to plug it into the car speaker. Radio gives me three choices. Conservative talk radio, hellfire and brimstone preachers and Country. Nice drive to PT with the leaves changing color. Blustery today.

It was nice to come home and check Bluesky to see notifications. I felt like somebody missed me and that hasn't happened in a long time. Bibi and Bentley thank you for enjoying their baby pictures. Worn out from shopping but I found the curtain rods I needed at the thrift.

Stopped at the BBQ joint for a quick dinner. A big burger with a topping of brisket and caramelized onions. $14. Two sides. Smaller sides than usual. His Italian Beef sandwich was $14, no sides. There is now a $1 surcharge on macaroni and cheese.

Jessica Lange was twirling on the arms of the Devil himself when the dogs decided they need to bark. For 77, the gal is pretty limber. AHS is good again now that Jessica is back. My therapist asked me how I can handle the violence. It's fiction with a good story line. Plus Kathy Bates.

The dental hygiene student was a bit puzzled that I knew my teeth numbers, basic oral anatomy and knew what those sharp instruments were named and when to use them. I inherited my mother's bad gums (her cancer too, gee thanks!). Lot of time in that chair. I have a really good memory.

All four quadrants of my teeth have been root planed. Went to the dental hygiene dept at the local university. Student got experience and I saved $900. Told the student to give me a call in January so I can do this again and do it quarterly. These Medicare dental policies cover very little.

Tempted to just slack off today. Probably won't since I am not sure how to be lazy. I fixed the weather seal in the front door. It popped out of the channel and I got it back in using a table knife and a pair of forceps. They do more than act as a roach clip.

This is Butch, my 110 lap dog who left me a decade ago. He was a good boy. Really put out BTUs and slept with his head on the pillow keeping me warm. Not my feet. He didn't like my icy tootsies. I replaced him with two 30 pound dogs.

Ehealthinsurance Svcs, Inc. sent my dead husband a mailer that is the same font as official IRS notifications. It's sneaky. In a box, it says this is "Not a bill - this is an insurance solicitation". It's open enrollment for seniors. I will get it from them all the companies for both of us

There is a vintage secretary in the old man cave. All my sewing notions fit inside with room to spare. The door folds down to form a desk and there are little cubbyholes and this one little drawer. SQUEE! All in the same place. I have four empty utility carts.
