Since the dreaded sickness has befallen me, I’ve been playing The House in Fata Morgana on my Switch, but I recently discovered it’s on the 3DS as well! Incredible VN, already an amazing experience. I’m about halfway and I am loving it to death. Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds

From Yoshitaka Amano's "Maten" artbook pg. 13 I always found this piece very alluring. Would love to have this framed alongside some of his works from Hiten

this was one of the rare instances where a sequel can improve on the gameplay but still not outperform the first game. where it does one thing great, it does two things bad. unfortunately, better combat doesn’t feel rewarding without a good story. not to say this was awful, just VERY lackluster 🤧

despite the game’s jank, Drag-on Dragoon is actually fun ☺️ i just finished probably the most challenging mission yet: chapter 8 verse 5. some of these difficult missions feel fun to complete, but others feel like a chore

I like to do deep-dives into artists I admire, and oftentimes I come across games that they did work on. This is Takeshi Obata's art from Yoshitsune-Ki for PS2 (2005). I'll definitely add this to my game backlog!

I wanna post game covers that I really like, starting with this one! 真・女神転生 II Shin Megami Tensei II The music in this game is also great. The battle theme is so catchy ☺️ #SMT #Atlus

Next month will be joyous!! My little sisters finally turn 18, meaning our disgusting deadbeat father will no longer have the right to keep us bound by custody laws! We can travel anywhere without letting him know, we can live without his scourge breathing down our necks! Anyway here’s my cat Suni

Games are art. An artist’s best work is one that’s not influenced by any outside factors. Once you change art to appease a certain person, thing or idea, it’s no longer art—it’s corporatized to appease everyone, and in doing so, it appeases no one.

Every piece of news I see about Persona 4 Revival makes me wanna play the game less and less. What a disappointment so far. What do you mean different VAs? What do you mean easier combat mechanics to trivialize the game? What do you mean they’re making Yosuke “less insensitive” to fit a modern era?

Every now n then I come across really good soundtracks from games I’ve never heard of (nor will ever play) so I’d post a track every Wednesday on Mastodon for VGM Wednesdays. I wanna do something similar here!

I’ve been practicing Lightning’s Theme from Final Fantasy XIII and oh my god, I can’t remember the last time an arrangement made me sweat this much. It’s not even that complicated, it’s just a departure from what I’m used to. So much fun!! Left hand runs are satisfying as hell. Will record sometime

Very pleased with the FF7 Revolution trailers because I've been playing through Dirge of Cerberus and wanted more Vincent in my life 🥺 Dirge really SUCKS as a game but the narrative and music are lovely--and since I'm married to Vincent I just had to finish it, even if it was a bore half the time...

happy pride 🖤 important reminder for why I barely associate with the queer community because as a bisexual, the hounding I see happening is insane and people need to grow a personality that doesn’t revolve around their sexuality…life aint all about what form of human you fuck, leave us alone ✌️🫶
