Second Wind put out a pretty bad video on DOOM: The Dark Ages. Instead of going to sleep yesterday, I made a response video. Video: youtu.be/OjoUj1uEI90 Let's not make this a habit.

The "Ghost In The Shell" remake is literally just a copy of Robocop. Not just in the story, but in a dozen copied scenes. Video link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4J5...

I wanna type "suppression" as "surpression", because of "surprise". Anyone got weird words you always misspell?

@4terryfarrell.bsky.social Terry hi, I was wondering if you had a moment to talk about the production of "The After Hours" episode of The Twilight Zone you were in, for an episode analysis! Is it possible to DM me here? Thanks!

In the long term, even if it's not a huge crowd, these are the kinds of people I wanna have representing a good part of my viewer base. Disagreement is fine. But maybe you'll think about something you hadn't before. And maybe one of my silly jokes will land.

Is there another genre of game other than fixed-camera survival horror that people actively get angry at you for liking?

I got so much done today! Outside work in the morning. Doctor's visit. Work out in the park. Finished editing a video to publish tomorrow. Made weekend plans. It was a good Tuesday. Tune into the channel tomorrow for a fun Resident Evil story.

REALLY struggling with YouTube's copyright system. I worked hard on editing my new TV series video to not be flagged. I uploaded it as "unlisted" for a couple weeks, and then randomly today got told a part of it is flagged. This terrifies me that a "cleared" video will be flagged post-publication.

Engagement is higher on Twitter but I still get an icky feeling there. Like if there was a nuclear detonation in a major city and a million people died, Twitter would be the place to go to find armies of people laughing about it immediately, saying people deserved it, inventing 20 conspiracies, etc.

Isn't it funny that the man whose random genetic mutation gives him metal skin and super strength also just happens to be gigantic and massively ripped? What if Colossus just looked like a normal guy?

I didn't quite hit 3 hours like I wanted to, 2:50. But the video is done. The fight for copyright flagging begins. Before I publish I'll make a backup version with stills that won't get flagged. I worry the video version will get flagged later even if it's cleared on upload.

It took a month but I finally got someone calling me "brainwashed by conservatism" for being against the changes to Maria's outfit, being concerned they might shy away from Eddie's obesity, etc. This "my side vs your side" approach to media does not interest me in the slightest.

Hello everyone who's followed me here on Bluesky. I'm still figuring out how to use this space. It feels weird to just.. post the same thought on two platforms. Makes things feel insincere.

I notice more and more media revisionism over time. I'm wondering how many years it'll be until large amounts of people, even critics, call The Rise Of Skywalker the best Star Wars film. Or Ghostbusters 2016 far better than the original. Something weird like that.

I'm gonna give this place a try. Twitter seems really ugly. Lots of anger, and hateful personalities. So, I'm feeling it out. I'm currently working on: 1) tutorial design for Rising Heat 2) a very long video on a classic TV series.
