Turns out we actually missed 2 of the bugs on this list, so we quickly patched the PC version to add them back, making it version 0.0.244 Also, all of the fixes from 0.0.242 through 0.0.244 are now live on PS4 and PS5 as well.

DELTARUNE PC/Mac Hotfix Update

Today we released an update for PC/Mac to fix a few issues with the game.
You can confirm the chapter version number on the bottom right of the file select screen.

Changelist

Chapter 5 PC / Mac Version 0.0.243

- Fixed a bug where losing to the last boss of the chapter, leaving the area without saving, then getting a game over elsewhere would result in the file failed to load (dogcheck) screen.
- Fixed a crash in a room where you can spend Pink Coins.
- Attempted a fix for a crash when lyrics are displayed onscreen.
- Fixed a softlock when entering a room where you are blown upwards by wind, without dashing.
- Fixed a softlock where a large yellow gun could move offscreen forever.
- Fixed a softlock where a giant pair of glasses could become invincible forever.
- Fixed a softlock in a certain Festival after talking to the guy who regrets buying round things, saving, then reloading the game, then talking again.
- Added a failsafe to the scissor cutting ACT where the ACT will end automatically if enough time passes without initially moving.
- Sprites no longer disappear when trying to put your hands in the grape I mean eyeball bowl.

We will continue to address issues as quickly as we can.

Hope everyone is having fun! A couple of bugs we are aware of: - Towards the end of a boss battle, when the music slows, flirting can freeze the game. - (Console only) In Castle Town's church, going to home screen and back crashes the game. We are working on fixes now.

We are releasing a hotfix for PC & Mac to remedy some issues occurring in the game.

- Fixed crashes relating to Shadowguy's Sharpshoot ACT.

Ch4 v.0.0.088

- Removed key combinations that caused various issues across the game.

- Fixed a crash relating to talking to an NPC when it's raining.

- Strengthened imagery while maintaining a scene's intended meaning.

- Fix of trapped out the closet.

We will begin the process of issuing the previous patches (1.01A and 1.01B) to consoles soon. The next patch will take longer and address non-fatal bugs. After that, we will take some more time to consider other adjustments.

We are releasing a hotfix to remedy some issues occurring in the game on PC&Mac.

Ch3 v.0.0.087
- Fixed a common crash in a room with a lot of screens.
- Fixed a crash when a certain boss tries to summon enemies.
- Fixed a freeze involved talking to a character after getting off of a raft.
- Fixed a freeze when checking binoculars.
- Removed a visible debug message.
- Fixed a crash involving picking up grass and swapping characters frame perfectly.
- Fixed a part where you can erroneously enter an empty room.
- Backtracking to a puzzle after attaining a special armor no longer crashes the game.
- Added a failsafe if you don't have audio output during rhythm games segments.

Ch4 v.0.0.086
- Fixed an issue where pressing up on the keyboard was required to move out of a present, regardless of key binding.
- Made a small graphical alteration to a certain scene.

We are aware of many other remaining issues, so we will be issuing another patch soon! After everything is hotfixed on PC, we will target consoles next. (Getting patches approved takes time, so we want to include as many fixes as possible at once.)
