Malu Castro's headshot and quote about his Public Scholarship project: "“My partners and I conducted case studies on Indigenous land restoration, more commonly known as land back, to identify best practices for determining the ultimate land acquisition price and financing costs. There is no existing scholarship or reporting on the topics of price and pricing regarding land back. This gap significantly undermines the capacity for Indigenous peoples not only to get their lands but also to do so in a way that does not saddle them with worse obligations.”
