It was a busy week for our History Terps! Congratulations to our UMD Library Award for Undergraduate Research / IDEA Award winners, our History Honors Seniors for presenting their research at our annual Honors Showcase, and to our 2026 inductees to Phi Alpha Theta! Cheers to a great semester!
Three smiling students stand outdoors on a balcony overlooking a green campus lawn, each holding flowers and diploma covers. The sky is bright blue with scattered clouds, and trees line the background.Group photo of six smiling people standing together indoors, several wearing medals on red ribbons and formal or business attire. A vase of flowers and water bottles sit on a table in the foreground, with framed black-and-white artwork hanging on the wall behind them.A group of students, faculty, and program mentors pose together in a small meeting room during an academic recognition or graduation gathering. Several students wear red, white, and black honor cords around their necks, while one graduate at the far right wears a black graduation gown with gold cords and a white face mask. The group stands smiling in front of framed black-and-white historical photographs mounted on cream-colored walls. A wooden table in the foreground holds additional honor cords, and large windows on the left side let in natural light. The students are dressed in a mix of casual and semi-formal clothing, creating an atmosphere that feels both celebratory and community-oriented.
