also holy fuck does building better habits for art just feel so good, alotta people should mention more that literally the act of picking up the pen itself tricks your brain to just start drawing. after improving my habits i’ve already noticed an increased output of my drawings🤌🤌

i often have to remind that whenever i think i’m slow at learning anything about art/drawing art itself, i’ll remind myself it’s only been 7 months and not fucking 7 years and then i’m quickly back to “alright stop rotting and go draw” & instantly feel better time in the lab is time well spent 🍻

I want to say yes, that sounds accurate tbh. The disconnect is definitely there considering that I not only started drawing digital over trad first, but on a screenless tablet🥴 so a mixture of texture as well as training mind and body lol

i have this weird thing where when i draw traditional my body behaves, but for some reason sometimes drawing digital i get this weird twitching(?) spasms in my arms. it’s rare but so weird!! i would think it’s just drawing in general but this shit only happens for digital!
