#portfolioday Hey. Despite everything, it's still Alessandro - an italian guy trying to make a living out of #pixelart. I used to work in the movie art department, but that was just a phase, MOM! I also have game asset packs (tilesets & characters mainly) for sale on my Itch and Patreon pages.

The crew can be spotted all around: Sanji is looking at a watermelon crate, possibly thinking of new recipes. Tony Tony Chopper is strolling happily down the staircase in the deck. Zoro is taking a nap at the bottom of the main mast. Nico Robin is relaxed, leaning on the main central deck railing and watching the waves, with a book by her side. Nami is looking towards the horizon from the bow deck where Usopp can be found as well, busy with ship's reparations. Luffy is sitting atop the sheep figurehead, with his arms stretched, hugging the giant watermelon he is enthusiastically eating.

Reflected in the lake below, the warm light dims into a nocturnal sky, as the deer god reflection takes the shape of the starlit Nightwalker.

1. A warehouse/garage kind of setting, with old cars, crates and metallic structures. The metallic shutter door is slowly opening, as light from outside filters in, reflected on the ruined, concrete flooring. 2. It's a hot sunset and Colin, a young man with teal blue hair tied with a headband and a subtle smirk has reached the center of a forested junkyard. The area is full of scrap metal and wire, with many broken electric devices. At the center of the forest clearing a huge pile of rubbish, rusty cars, construction materials, street lighta and more can be seen. At the bottom of the scrap tower, there's an opening in the metal with a dim light and old drapes on the side.

The message box at the bottom of the screen showcases Colin's mugshot and a line of monologue: "Unbelievable! That's the source of the magnetic anomaly. I wonder what Oloap wants from that pile of Junk".

In 2017 Universal wanted to start their cinematic "Dark Universe" with a Mummy movie. During the production I was chosen as background artist for a companion game, developed in just 8 months crunch. The movie wasn't just bad but considered worst movie of the year which destroyed the games sales.

What I learned from this is that there's an entire fraudulent side industry to weapons manufacturing that takes things like frag grenades or shotguns, replace the projectiles with hard rubber and sells them as "less than lethal". They should be locked up.
