I also think it's hilarious that Linux users brag about no viruses. It's only half true. Linux desktop has few viruses, but that's not an indication of its security and reliability. NT and macOS have built-in antimalware, digital signatures, and heuristic scanners and virtualisation-based security.

I'm not sure Linux was ahead even 10 years ago. Sure, Wine was great, and Compiz Fusion was flashy and well designed, but in terms of security, reliability, and engineering? Windows NT is unironically a piece of art. It went to shit around Windows 8. 10 and especially 11 are awful, but Linux?
