Right now, NY law doesn’t give someone who chose to drink the same protections as someone who was drugged without their consent. It’s called the “voluntary intoxication” loophole — and we think it's disgusting. Drinking is NOT consent. Tell NY leaders to take urgent action to close the loophole.

This sentence comes after years of Weinstein fighting his conviction. His original 2020 New York conviction was overturned in 2024, forcing Haley to return to court and testify again. Last year, a jury once again found Weinstein guilty of sexually assaulting her.⁠
