A couple characters from Utopia '97 which are definitely not bosses. They're "very large friends" #indiegames #indiedev

I couldn't release Hong Kong 2097 on Steam, so I've reskinned it into the most family friendly shmup the world has ever seen. No shooting enemies, just blowing kisses at your friends. Wishlist now: store.steampowered.com/app/5260960/...

I'm finally starting to share new footage from Conjunctivitalizer again. This is a little sample of stage 2. You can also hear a bit of new music by Yamanaka Toshiya

It's a bit late but here's the newest video. It's about a Game Boy Advance game based on Kansai Television's mascot, Hachiemon. Good clean fun. youtu.be/LLiySfLXuuk

In western Japan there's a subsidiary of Gyomu Super (a discount supermarket) called "Every", and they commissioned this cheery theme song which has become something of an underground legend. Feel bad for the workers on minimum wage who have to listen to it on loop www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsCI...

If you like 80s J-pop, you've gotta listen to Nakamori Akina's "Fushigi" album. Has a misty mixdown and is quite different from all her other music www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZYg...

I got behind but I've finally added an update to Hong Kong 2097. Mainly improves difficulty balance (as in it's easier now). And to celebrate, it's 30% off for two weeks. Now's your chance. kanipro.itch.io/hong-kong-2097

Somehow I'm sticking to my schedule and have yet another video ready. It's a review of Rhythm'n Face on the PS1, by the makers of LSD: Dream Emulator. youtu.be/ZD95aUIHj34

Ultra Healthy returns to Youtube with a review of Nisemon Puzzle da Mon! Pheromon Kyushutsu Daisakusen for the Game Boy Color. It's a puzzle platformer based on a character series that purposely parodied Pokemon and may have been the first to do so. youtu.be/abVBkjCXk0Q

I haven't posted here in forever. Well, in case you didn't see the announcement elsewhere, I'm going to start making review videos again. In fact, the first one is coming incredibly soon. Get ready to dig through the vaults of Japan's weirdest games once again

Unsurprisingly, Hong Kong 2097 failed its first Steam review. But they didn't outright say no way in hell. Mainly they want a debug version so they can see the whole game. That's probably a death sentence, but I'll try

Hong Kong 2097 is a twin stick shooter, not a vertical shooter. You also have a shield that can block/absorb green bullets (but not purple bullets). Absorbing bullets temporarily powers up your weapon. It might be fun?

I haven't posted here in ages, and that's because I've been super hard at work on my next game: Hong Kong 2097. It's the official sequel to Hong Kong 97, and I'm making it together with Kowloon Kurosawa, the developer of the original. Should be releasing quite soon

Man I haven't posted in ages. too old for social media probably. I've been focused on making games as opposed to playing them so far this year
