First starting out, I used to feel so pressured, so… stressed about likes, reposts, consistent art posts, etc etc. After this piece, I’ve reached a level of clarity I haven’t felt in a long time— like, who cares if it’s popular? I appreciate all the love I’ve gotten from this one, thx 🔥🔥

I just realized I never posted the finalized design here on BlueSky: Anna is the Ringleader of a Christmas themed Circus Group and serves the role as the Magician when performing on Stage! Her group goes around spreading Christmas Joy wherever they can! She also used to be Ulti’s babysitter!

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

I could’ve SWORN I saw someone here ask about ethnicities but they might’ve deleted their comment, so I’ll just leave the answer here: Ulti: African Snacho & McKayla: Brazilian Mack: Australian Takuya: Japanese/Chinese Frankie: Finnish Lulu: Italian Leena: French

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

OH AND OK KO I can’t believe I forgot the biggest why the series exists the way it does today.. And yes, while I had a general idea how I wanted FH to be, its development was more gradual.

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

The characters are doodles that have evolved over time since being in the 7th grade: some staying the same (i.e. Snacho or Mack) whilst others have changed drastically. (2/2)

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

LOVE THIS ONE OOOOO— The story was original planned as a tv pitch before making the switch to comic/manga format: Its biggest inspirations are MHA, Naruto, Sonic, Dragon Ball, JoJo, and ESPECIALLY ONE PIECE. (1/2)

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

This is a tough one! Ulti: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Sancho: Ghostbusters McKayla: A Bug’s Life Mack: Free Guy Takuya: hard to decide, but pretty much any type of Godzilla film most likely Lulu: Beauty and the Beast Leena: doesn’t watch enough movies to have a favorite Frankie: Dumb and Dumber

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Ah okay. My guess was being afraid clocks— but I understand this a lot, especially as a comic creator: it’s def stress that I could do without

What’s that? Genuinely curious

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

To anyone who sees this and is new here: Here’s what they all look like and their names in order of appearance! don’t be afraid to ask Ulti, Snacho, McKayla, Mack, Takuya, Frankie, Lulu, and Leena:

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

To make a long story short! the house belongs to the Rodriguez Family (McKayla and Snacho!): Geode was built by the pair’s Father and after the parents’ passing, he took the mantle of parenting the two. Ulti and Mack are a tricky scenario since I’m still figuring it out, BUT they don’t live there.

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Ulti: …Favorite?? McKayla: Doesn’t hate Pizza, but vastly prefers Spicy Buffalo Wings Snacho: Plain Cheese Mackerol: Peanut Butter Takuya/Lulu: Doesn’t like Pizza Leena: Pepperoni Frankie: Hawaiian

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Main 4 Hobbies! Ulti: Finding Caverns/Forests to Explore Snacho: Building Lego Figurines McKayla: Reading Bizarre “Believe it or Not-esque” Books/Magazines Mack: Digging Holes and Collecting Rocks

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 11/01/2025

Yes this was based off Momo and Okarun why do you ask?

Ulti! @ultib247.bsky.social · 11/01/2025

had a revelation that it would be cool if McKayla had some sort of fixation on bugs and different species while Mack really REALLY likes Dinosaurs and exploring for fossils and they talk FOR HOURS about it with each other
