Recently Ulster University School of Law hosted the NI Mock Trial Initiative: a full-day simulated Crown Court trial based on a serious sexual offence case. Presided over by Sir Judge John Gillen, the exercise proved to be a hugely beneficial learning experience. Thanks to all involved.

It was an historic day today as we welcomed Ireland's President, Catherine Connolly, to our Belfast campus. President Connolly met with some of our law students, researchers and staff in our state of the art Moot Court. She said "Clearly this is a special place designed to foster community".
