The difference between our near future and WW2 is that WW2 lasted about 6 years. Our current crisis could last CENTURIES. WW2 displaced about 65 million people. Climate change will displace BILLIONS. So our current crisis is likely to be about 2 orders of magnitude worse than WW2!
