Allergy seasons been a bit rough this year. We’ve had to resort to putting socks on Gia’s paws to reduce her licking. But whenever she wears them she likes to only be in a couple places. One of which is in my bedroom under plenty of blankets.

The pen body of the uniball one p is pretty much perfect for an on the go pen. Kinda wish there was a mechanical pencil version or insert that worked with it. Closest pencil I’ve tried would the the pencil version on the Kaweco sport and it’s close but not quite there

I hate the terminology “treatment resistant” even though right now that’s my reality. Makes it seems like I’m personally resistant to treatment options when that’s not the case. It’s that I’m hard to diagnose and the treatment options that have been tried haven’t been very effective. #chronicpain

I really like the clear bodies of the new uniball one p pens. These ones specifically don’t come with a refill already installed. And with the re-release of a couple of my favorite limited colors now becoming standard, I just had to put those refills in. It’s Ramune and Butterfly Pea Tea.

Knowing that there has been improvement since I started PT at the beginning of the month is reassuring. What to do when you can make it through an hour or so of PT or a half hour of exercise but the symptoms don’t flare up until the next day. I’m in a conundrum cause my care team sees me mostly when I’m feeling relatively well and not during the after effects.

Gotta love when your chronic pain lasts long enough and isn’t easily exacerbated by outside forces that you outwardly seem “normal” relatively pain free, and it’s bit you in the ass when it comes to paperwork and doctor notes.

I was prepping my calendar files to be uploaded for sale and while I was filling some pages out for example pics I realized I had numbered one of the lists wrong and I typed another “20” instead of “30” and I had to redo all those files.

A great thing about using Affinity is that it’s a one time lifetime purchase, and during months when the chronic pain in my arms makes making art difficult, I don’t end up feeling like I’m wasting money each month when I end up not using it much.

Affinity has been a great alternative to Adobe and I’ve been using it for years. They seem to be really receptive to what their client base wants, and is willing to listen. Please let them know your stance on generative AI.

I made some mini konpeito star candy filler stickers. Not sure if I prefer inkjet with laminate, or laser polyester that’s way more waterproof but the print is lower quality.

One hard thing to explain is the difference in how my chronic pain feels, as opposed to pain from like an injury or workout. Like it’s very different and you can tell it’s not from like a specific event. IYKYK #chronicillness #chronicpain
