@bazzite.gg has been broken for me since the 615.x Nvidia drivers were added (Bazzite 44.20260914 and newer). Half the VRAM is MIA on my RTX 3060 Ti when using these drivers. No such issues on Bazzite 44.20260908 and earlier. Hopefully this is addressed soon.

Bazzite runnnig Nvidia drivers 615.78.08-1 = 4GB of VRAM

Bazzite runnnig Nvidia drivers 610.57.04-1 = 8GB of VRAM

The power just went out for 5 seconds. Right as I was about to finish a turn based battle in a tactical turn based RPG. The last allowable quick save - 40 minutes ago!

I picked up a couple of 8Bitdo Ultimate 2C Wireless controllers today. They work out of the box on both Bazzite Linux 44, and Debian GNU/Linux Testing (forky) using the included 2.4GHz wireless dongles. If you are looking for wireless hall effect controllers for not much cash, these are worth a go.

Fuck the Xbox leadership, and fuck Microsoft in general! Nothing but love for the studios that brought us amazing games over the years. I really hope the Xbox Series range of consoles gets owned soon, because they sure would make nice boxes to run something like Bazzite, or CachyOS on.

The kid decided she wanted Bazzite removed from her computer. She decided she wanted to stick with KDE though so I installed Kubuntu 26.04. She took 1 look at it and all she said was "No! Why does it look like that?". I installed Linux Mint 22.3 running Cinnamon... and she's happy.
