The Land Carries drew to a close last month. It’s been a great collaborative group show by artists Ahmed Akasha, Dina Nur Satti and Yasmin Elnour showcasing the stories and lives of everyday people from ancient Sudan.

We were delighted to host sessions handling early Egyptian glass as part of the recent ‘Transparent Journeys along the Silk Roads’ conference. The event focused on the vital role of glass as an indicator of exchange, trade and movement along the Silk Roads.
