I end up having way too many things to do, and unfortunately because of these agents, expectations have gotten higher. but also with ADHD it's very easy to fire off "just one more prompt!" to try out an idea if it's in an area I am interested in...

I think it’s a mix of 1. Older models 2. Outdated perceptions 3. Only using chat interfaces and not agentic harnesses 4. Budget (being able to spend a lot on tokens matters) 5. Willingness and time to learn The last one is huge, I feel like people get a lot more out after years of practice

I love that with enough tokens and a rich dataset I can just ask it to try out enough hypotheses and filter them for me - even if a bunch of them are noise, I know which ones are valuable and save time doing the experimentation. Adds up at scale but only at scale. Thank you for sharing!
