I decided to do this because I was given a pickle rick figurine a few years ago and always wanted to have a stand for it. Drew it by hand on blender, 3D printed it piece by piece and then painted it by hand using acrylic (miniature) colours. I'd say not bad for my first ever hand-painted work.

Several of the smaller pieces after painting: motherboard, raygun, portal gun, helmet, cog, toaster and plumbus. No need to explain what a plumbus is because everyone has one at home.

The JN-80 is just INSANE. It sounds so good. I don't care whether it sounds exactly like the Juno or not (apparently it's pretty close), I love the sound and I love the interface.

The SDL implementation available on #miyoo seems incomplete, so I changed plans and I'm using embedded-graphics instead. For that purpose, I came up with a framebuffer driver for embedded-graphics. It seems to work quite well! Now for sound and input devices. #rust #embedded #linux

has anyone ever tried to run a #uxn emulator on the #Miyoo Mini Plus? Well, there you go. I'm using Raven, whose GUI I ported to SDL2.0 (rust-sdl2). Sound still doesn't work. Mouse emulation done using the arrows - it's clunky but it works.

Trying to run my code on the #miyoominiplus, but somehow SDL doesn't seem happy. Anybody have a clue? I thought maybe my SDL dynamic lib didn't include fbdev bindings, but now I am relying on the .so the OS is providing, with the same result. #miyoo #sdl #embedded #retrogaming
