What a transfer window that was...

An elderly man vaguely resembling an owl is standing amongst the empty seats at Liverpool FC's Anfield Stadium, looking bewildered as to why he was there, as many fans also did at the time.
Sitting in front of him are three alleged footballers. One, wearing a red jersey, is looking longingly at a carton of Silk Cut purple cigarettes off-camera.
The second, a Serbian footballer named Milan Jovanovic is proudly wearing Liverpool's third jersey, and was named as one of the greatest footballers in the world in an episode of Neighbours.

Crap weather today, so into the shedquarters I went. Cabinets put together, tool chests sorted, and grabbed an old kitchen table butcherblock and cut it down to slot in as a work surface. Need to run a couple of sockets and get the wall control pegboard mounted tomorrow.

Honestly, at this point when it comes to this government, the housing crisis, their attitude to it, and what they've allowed profiteering renters to be able to get away with, there's only one image that comes to mind over and over again:
