All this talk of Propaganda magazine got me to sit down and fix up how I store the magazines. #U2

I remember jumping through hoops to get a copy of this on CD in 1998. Finally found a store with copies willing to send one to Canada in return for a money order. Took about a year to get it. 😂

Breaking Waves... www.u2songs.com/news/breakin... #U2 salute to Anton Corbijn, "Three" hits crazy prices, no U2 for Record Store Day's Black Friday event, and more at the link above.

Was asked about this one on the @u2songs.bsky.social account. Yes, those are my copies of the “Three” EP. There’s another dozen or so that didn’t make the photo. “Out of Control” was written on my 5th birthday and has always been a fave, and as the first record I’ve always looked for copies…

I just turned it off when I hit 25,000. :)

Fall 1993. Dressed up for some event in university. What’s that around my neck? A handmade pendant of Cosmo the Achtung Baby? Sure is. It would glow-in-the-dark too.

His eyes are so beautiful. Say so much with just two dark spots.

At the time I’m not sure how many knew who I was. With the film out now I suspect more would recognize it.

And here’s a Hallowe’en costume of mine from days gone by to show just how big a fan of Krypto I am.

Saw Superman today. It didn’t disappoint. I’ve been waiting for that for a while now. And Krypto is the goodest boy. This new DC Universe is off to a strong start.

Here to add a third. The answers are almost always wrong. And it’s just a waste of resources to provide them.

This is part of the research I have been doing for my second book about U2. Currently finishing the proposal for my editor.

Marc Garneau inspired me. In 1984 he was the first Canadian in space at a time when my head was in the stars. He has an honorary degree from TUNS, where I studied Engineering, a career path he helped lead me to. I also got to meet him there in 90s.

He interviewed Bono. Went out on Friday.

Popped up in my memories today. Daniel Lanois certainly spoiled me. He was very surprised to see the “Falling at your Feet” single from the Netherlands. Was showing it off to his team. Think it may have been the first time he saw a copy of it. ❤️

AJ @u2wanderer.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

No desire to watch Joe Rogan interview anyone, not even U2. It could be my own mother, back from the dead, and I’d give it a pass. (No need to tell me how good it is, or anything else…and good on Bono if he reaches anyone…But Rogan is completely distasteful to me.)

Winston does this when he comes across freshly chopped grass. Definitely allergies. He was given a pill when it was at its worst but seems to be better now. It’s not non-stop. He seems to be able to move on.

Roof of the Clarence. U2 did a bunch of performances there in 2000

It is. The roof where they played Beautiful Day.

How many U2 fans know where this was taken? 🧐

AJ @u2wanderer.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

When Tony reached out today to ask if I wanted to see his photos, I saw the first one of Bono and Larry singing their smiles out…had to share. Best thing about doing this the last 30 years is fans letting you in to their experiences. ❤️

They don’t seem in any hurry to move beyond what they are using now. I expect they’ll evaluate before the next big release and update to match what others use.
