We've met The Trio™, but here's a clearer look at their personalities, and how they interact with humans (positive & negative.) I'm so used to cherry picking episodes out of season 2 to watch, I often forget that they're supposed to be much younger than Demona and Goliath.

You could see it in the way Demona revealed herself to Hakon, and in the way Goliath sheaths his full presence to Princess Katherine. The 'wings as capes' are such a loud statement. I often wonder how that aspect of the Gargoyles evolved during the show's initial development.

I’ve been taking my time with #Moonrise. The story is told in a mostly linear fashion, with some deviations. I’m enjoying it. However I think an 18 episode count is a bit odd, and either trimming to 13 or pushing to 26 would’ve served the story better. One thing for sure though, I HATE Mary.

A story choice that scratches my brain in the best way is when characters have atypical names that have a theme. Examples? The mechs in Darling In The Franxx are all named after flowers. The Black Org. agents in Detective Conan are named after alcoholic beverages. I love that stuff.

Netflix already has the edge on AMC+ with the way they’re lifting up Pantheon, even as it appears on their UI. Just the bare minimum of this updated selection art. 10/10. (Hopefully I’ll find clean versions do the images one day. LOVE these.)

Fascinating that with Mac OS Seqouia, you get access to previous dynamic wallpapers dating back to their launch with OS Mojave. I’d love the same for iPhone and iPad tbh. But I imagine the older resolution & quality of those would look awful on the modern devices. Ah well.
