I do not wish to brag, in fact the opposite in that, sometimes being so self aware of things is a curse bc I'm aware of the flaws about me, the flaws of others, the flaws of this world and communities, and it's made me not want to go to furmeets or even talk to anyone, including close friends

I should focus on my school and career then get involved more. But I need friends, people outside the fandom are furthest from genuinely understanding me as a person and even further from giving me a chance. Maybe I stay bc outsiders never gave me a chance or tried to understand, since I was born

I genuinely don't know why I am still apart of this fandom. I don't know what keeps me here. I've struggled to find anyone good here since I joined the fandom when I was 17. I'm 21 now and I've only found maybe 2 people who stay by my side and wonder how I do and seem to care

Though I have noticed that this fandom is full of vice and temporary pleausre. It feels to me, like relationships are only a thing by the extremely rare who are emotionally intelligent enough or work on a fluke. Everything else seems to be drugs, sex, showing off, smoking, and drinking.
