Thanks to everyone who tuned into the #WoTIdol Holiday event. I couldn't watch live, and it looks like it is blocked, so I'm sorry I can't properly show gratitude to those who had nice things to say then! But my song is now public, and you can enjoy at the link below: youtu.be/1ZJAWrcWyMY?...

The weirdest take from a new WoT reader coworker at the end of EotW: Thom Merrilin is a cross between Tom Bombadil and Bilbo Baggins. (The others were more conventional) #wotskies

Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara in armor pointing with his axe toward the vantage point of the viewer. Below him, the text reads "LORD GOLDENEYES WANTS YOU TO SUBMIT TO WOT IDOL." "YOU" is in red, the rest in black with a red glow behind.

With #TheWheelOfTime and now Colbert, it goes to show that these days, ratings and quality alone won't save shows if the people in charge of the show's platform have made up their minds. 🫤

On the left, Wheel of Time is shown as Prime's number 1 TV show in the U.S. On the right, Stephen Colbert, with this text: CBS CANCELS TOP RATED "THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT".

Still can't get used to the fact that the new leader of Syria (Sharaa) has basically the same name as a continent from #TheWheelOfTime (Shara). 😆

On the left, a map of Shara from The World of the Wheel of Time, the continent east of the Aiel Waste. On the right, Ahmed al'Sharaa, Acting President of Syria. He is an Arab man with pale skin, short dark hair, and a thick beard down to his collar. He is wearing a Western business suit with a white shirt and blue tie. A bundle of contradictions, he has a piercing intense gaze but a friendly smile.

Ready to serve at Her Majesty's pleasure. Forward the white lion of Andor! #WoTCon #TheWheelOfTime

A man stands with feet close together, hands behind his back, in a red sateen shirt with buttons running diagonally up the front. He has a silver lion pin at the top of the buttons at his throat. His shirt is tucked into loose-fitting tan trousers, which are tucked into tan boots.

#WoTShowSpoilers Major #WoTBookSpoilers SPLR 306D/9D Anyone else think this moment from 306 foreshadowed/taught Rand something about cleansing saidin? #WoTSkies #TheWheelOfTime

Josha Stradowski as Rand in Ep 306 of The Wheel of Time, when he kills Sammael.

He makes an "O" with his hand and watches intently as the One Power funnels through it. The Corruption on saidin gets bottled up above his hand at first, with the pure One Power filtering through on its own at first.

Ok #WoTSkies Aiel superfans, what's the mechanics for Wise Ones to approve going to Rhuidean? In tSR, 4 must say yes. In Ep 304, it's 2. But what if there are 5 or more present & the majority say no? Rhuarc of Watch Part WoT said "plurality of those present" in a recent ep... #TheWheelOfTime

#WoTBookSpoilers #WoTShowSpoilers SPLR 4D/308D Interesting how it looks like Gawyn didn't play a role in Elaida's coup, removing the first thing he did to really earn readers' ire. Instead, his worst crime thus far is benign arrogance.

Like Featherstone as Gawyn Trakand. He's wearing a red double-breasted military-style coat with a golden lion embroidered on it.

#WoTShowSpoilers SPLR 308D How does younger-looking Melindhra remembers more of Malkier than Lan? 1) The actress is 3 years older than Daniel Henney! 2) Was she promised youth until Malkier's restoration? People want her skin routine. Maybe she's born that way, maybe its the dark oaths...

Synnøve Macody Lund as Melindhra in The Wheel of Time. She is smiling as she looks to the side.

#WoTShowSpoilers SPLR 308D I enjoyed #TheWheelOfTime Ep 308! My thoughts in a short thread. Want to see nonreader reacts to Alcair Dal because that had good and meh moments, but was more powerful for me when I read it the 1st time. The other plots were very satisfying ends!

#WoTBookSpoilers #WoTShowSpoilers SPLR 305B/13D (Towers of Midnight) New extremely wacky theory I just had: Melindhra is Graendal. When she mentioned Malkier, all she talked about were things related to pleasure.
