Finally home. That concludes my first ever trip to Bali and Indonesia. It was so wonderful, sweating it up on a tropical paradise with wonderful people! It was like enjoying my favourite nostalgia all over again! @pawaiid.bsky.social huge Suksama to everyone who made it possible!!

Electronics are dumb. Basic ass LM339N comparator circuit using 3 of the 4 outputs. I've managed to sink over 160 hours into trying to make the bastard work and each time I find a new and unique way to blow something up.

The loss of Eric 'Snapcat' left a hole in the world. I was so fortunate to call him a friend even though i was but a minor customer. He will be missed by many and my condolences go out to his family and friends. Travel safe to the next adventure mate.

Wasted 3 evenings once again needing to leard the lesson of: AI is fuckin rubbish. I don't exactly have an electrical engineering degree...so i gave it a go trying to get these two inverters to phase lock. No dice. Tried to reverse engineer the daughter cards, no good. BUMMER!!

Bought a round machine this weekend cause I was sick of using the one at work with the boss breathing down my neck. Only a little guy but it'll do. Motors 3 phase in wye wind so I can't run a VFD on it. Cooked up another idea to use an old BLDC scooter motor I had laying about.

Well.... That project was a LONG time in the waiting. New rear springs in the Hijet, required some rear drive line modification to handle the extra travel. Which snowballed into "now it needs a twin cv prop shaft". Onto version 2 of the prop shaft and thus far, works good! Now to build a spare.
