I love that during a video chat with our friends I ended up venting a little, then apologizing cuz it was a lot. And one of them chimes in with, "you're in a safe space. I get it." I needed that acknowledgment. I didn't know it, but I needed it.

Joy of joys, we discovered a plumbing problem yesterday. It seemed minor, called dad, he said he'd be here this morning. We snaked some drains... it's worse. So much worse. Now I'm PRAYING a plumber can come out tomorrow. Or I'm invading my parents' house for awhile.
