Wow! I kept this up for 365 days!! One year of keeping myself accountable. I struggled, had a few injuries, took too many rest days on occasion and celebrated some wins, but really proud of myself for sticking with it all year. The hardest part is starting. I will keep the thread going.

The visual evidence of use here tells a very obvious story of how much I adored this book as a child (and well into my teens). Finally getting to read it with one of my own children, and no wonder I loved it so, Susan Cooper’s writing is brilliant.

Not going well, I don’t have a press and there is a little too much moisture but tastes good, soaked in maple syrup then dipped in cornstarch and cinnamon, after the waffle iron air fried for a couple minutes

Parenting tip.. if your kid is running high temps and they love a sleeping bag, hide it when they're sick. Kiddo had bundled herself in a sleeping bag and multiple blankets and was running a 103 fever. I had to unzip her out of it when she had finally fallen asleep... notes from the sick house
