Tyler @tylerrothmar.bsky.social · 14/10/2026Reading Marquez for the first time in ages, I'm struck by just how much influence he seems to have had on Wes Anderson. "Love in the Time of Cholera" reads like a Wes Anderson movie. 120 0
Tyler @tylerrothmar.bsky.social · 11/10/2026The master took the high seat. A monk approached, asking, "What of the cardinal principle of the curry Dharma?" The master said, "While studying with Huangbo, I questioned his keema three times, and was struck three times." The monk had no reply. The master struck him. The monk bowed low. 020 0

Tyler @tylerrothmar.bsky.social · 25/09/2026It pains me to say this stuff, btw. I have zero love for Confas, but his racist motivations don't make what he brought to light untrue. Amid a genuine meaning crisis we need our schools to pursue the truth, not bury it. 000 0
Tyler @tylerrothmar.bsky.social · 25/09/2026And the trouble is that no serious look into the charges could exonerate him. Many have combed his thesis and the result is clear. Those who propelled him up that high are complicit in his fall. Anything less than a full investigation and the school, having already failed the man, will fail itself. 100 0
