Watch Braylon Mullins's fundamentals and footwork with his on-ball DEF here. Does a great job of sliding his feet, staying in a low defensive stance, and playing with physicality to cut off drives.

010

Tyler Metcalf @tylermetcalf.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

This is an awesome possession by Braylon Mullins showing how he plays with his head up. Off the first OREB he does a great job of passing through traffic to find Karaban on the cut. Then on the next one he has the wherewithal to tip the OREB to Karaban for the easy layup.

One of the best things of watching games in person is when a player vigorously signals to challenge, the coach looks at his review guy, and the review guy grimaces and shakes his head.

Morez Johnson was huge for Michigan down the stretch last night. Not sure they pull off that win without him. Needs to work on the DEF discipline but his DEF versatility, rebounding on both ends, interior finishing, and cutting constantly bailed them out.
