Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Unfortunately the lunar eclipse started here right before the sunrise when the Moon was setting. Barely got about 1/3 sure coverage before it hid below the horizon. Also, it's 5:30 am and I have to wake up in less than 5 hours :/ 010
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 12/03/2026It's more of a test of your display ability to show wide gamout - on my smartphone i had no problems with reds, but on my 27" monitor I struggled with reds. www.keithcirkel.co.uk/whats-my-jnd/ 000
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 21/02/2026I woke up at 5 am because my stupid brain decided to treat me with a stressful dream. Now I'm wide awake in the middle of the night with a knot in my stomach and anxiety attack. 110
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 04/02/2026That very rare moment when I wish I had clout and be able to share with everyone this masterpiece youtu.be/x-FLnQrUGTc It's fucking fabulous 💅🏼 000
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 17/01/2026Hytale is fun. Even in this early stage it shows great potential. It's more of an adventure game, but at the same time it has a very extensive building system. I like. Oh, and one amazing thing - it has a native Linux version from day one! I had zero issues installing the game and it runs smoothly! 000
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 17/12/2025Next year it will be only Linux and Steam Deck. And maybe MacOS. 030

Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 18/11/2025On the other hand, it was announced today that Hytale is coming back from the dead and is going back to its original creators hands. I love Minecraft but nothing exciting is happening in terms of updates. Bedrock edition is now just a cash cow for M$ with all the paid add-ons... 100
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 18/11/2025The last spark of hope I had for Cities: Skylines 2 to get better died today as Paradox announced that they are moving development to a new (internal) studio and are cutting ties with Colossal Order. That new studio is only known for making mobile games... I guess RIP C:S2 000
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 31/10/2025And now for something different. 50th anniversary showing. 000

Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 28/09/2025My first... let's call it a drawing, in years (dug out my old pen tablet to see if it works with Linux. And it does!) Thinking about getting a screen tablet with a stylus. Tab S9 probably, since it's relatively cheap now. 010

Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 26/07/2025Hey @proton.me - when will you release a proper VPN app for Linux? or develop a proper system integration of Proton Drive? I switched fully to Linux and I'm really starting to wonder why should I keep paying for an Unlimited plan... 000
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 15/07/2025This needs more likes! (and it's own full-time episode <3 tho I fear there's a high risk of mental damage (pun!) to the players if this would go longer than 10 minutes) 010
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 13/07/2025Installing the Talos Principle remaster just for "testing" was a mistake. I mean it runs perfectly on Proton... The problem is it's now 4 am... Thankfully it's Sunday so I can sleep till noon. And then spend the rest of the day solving more puzzles. 000
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 12/07/2025Also, dear @steampowered.com - thank you for the amazing work you are doing on Proton. 💙 000
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 12/07/2025De-Windowsing is done. Every computer I own is now running on Linux. Took me a month of (mostly mental) preparations to do the switch on my main PC, but it's done now. So far I was able to find a solution to any problem I'm encountering. 280
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 08/06/2025A week-long test run done. I was using Fedora on my main PC and I must say Linux is in a much better place than it was 10 years ago. Of course it all depends on the distro and what you are expecting from your OS. But in general, if you stick to the more "commercial" editions it's a good experience 110
Tygrys @tygryspasiasty.bsky.social · 28/05/2025Thinking of pulling the plug and completely ditching Windows from my main PC and going full-on Linux. I'm already running my media PC on Ubuntu. And my home Minecraft server is on Linux. And with all the work that Valve and community are doing on compatibility later gaming on Linux is not a problem. 110
