Seriously, LOOK at the difference in how many recruits I’ve managed from Cai’s route (done first) and midway through Leda’s route (doing currently). Part of me wonders if I redo the last chapter of Cai’s Part 1 again I might be able to bump those numbers.

I believe for once the algorithm gods have served me up content that is absolutely in the center of my wheelhouse.

I'm counting both Final Fantasy X/X-2 AND Xenosaga Episode 1 as games I've beaten more than 6 times. That only holds true because they were the first two RPGs (non-Pokemon) that I fully bought into...so I've had them the longest...and they're comfort games I always dip back into over the years.

Realized I can actually make both the “there are two Hunters inside you” joke AND the “there are two Rooks inside you joke at the same time.

My male Midnight Suns character headed on a mission with Dr. Strange and Captain Marvel.

My male rogue Rook that’s admittedly been stuck in the tutorial for ages.

My female mage Rook that’s admittedly been I just recently created…because I just can’t live without having at least ONE mage somewhere in the games I’m playing.

Anyone who knows my Street Fighter 4 journey probably understands why C. Viper is the first character (on the Switch) I prioritized to get her throwback outfit. And the I put her in Zangief in matching color schemes! Yup, World Tour mode is getting claws in me again.

C. Viper basically deciding, kinda similar to Cammy, that my character is NOT a player in the spy game (and thus there’s no real reason to kill me. Yet.).

After maxing C. Viper’s fondness level and accessing her throwback outfit I tried it out with a quick fight with Zangief. Had to put them in matching color schemes!

Post-battle (Edge Maverick had the last hit, so he's the one focused on) screen for Star Ocean: The Last Hope. I once again filled up the battle board, but this time the blues and yellows were providing more experience and money.

Back when I initially played Star Ocean 4 I DREAMED of getting a full bonus board like this. (Between pink providing HP/MP refill and yellow providing money...helps in early game, for sure!)

Star Ocean The Last Hope battle screen. It's early game, so I've got Edge, Reimi, Faize, and Lymle. I met the conditions in previous battles to fill up my bonus board with tiles that replenish HP/MP at the end of a battle and others that provide more money. Also, at this stage I'm able to destroy any non-boss on this particular planet in short order.
I always try to fill my bonus board, but if you're hit by an enemy in combat there's a chance they'll break tiles off. And I'm NEVER that good at timing my withdrawal from oncoming enemies, so more often than not I've only got, like, 4 tiles with a bonus in them. :D

In amusing news today I had the Jeep out for errands. Another Jeep in town that has rubber duckies on the dashboard parked next to me while I was inside and gifted me a duck. I wrote a thank you note and left it on their wipers. So…now our Jeep has a duck.

I’m having another go at watching my messy Marvel children fight before they take on the Nazis of Hydra.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope (International) HD Remaster artwork. Features ensemble of playable characters such as Edge, Reimi, Faize, Myuria, Lymle, Bacchus, Arumat, Sara, and Meracle. (Not necessarily in that order.)
While the original release on XBox 360 had art that was based off of the 3D character models, by the time the game was re-released on PS3 and later consoles in the International version they'd overhauled a lot of in-game character art in menus to resemble more traditional anime styles.

Gods, I really did forget how much Nuwa and Yakumo are both Bisexual Panic AND a Disaster Couple, no matter which storyline you’re following in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. 😆

Nuwa and Yakumo, a demon and a human, converse with your main character thru the game, but rarely confide in you. That doesn’t stop them from posing sexily at you every chance they get.

As a pivotal moment in the story approaches Nuwa and Yakumo show up to drop hints and give the characters more grief at the same time.

Nuwa leans against Yakumo. With her being a demon and Yakumo’s professed hatred of humans that rely on demons the only thing for sure is that their situationship is both very deep and sometimes amusingly complicated.

Believe it or not, Marvel Rivals actually toned DOWN Rogue's Savage Land look. 😆 (...and she STILL has more clothing on than Kazar.)

The snow actually showed up. (It’s been showing up in light coatings, but this 3-ish inches is the first “oh yeah, I really don’t want to drive anywhere today” stuff.)

Aha! After much digging, I found (one of) my original Inquisitors. This would be my archer, Kennan, I believe. Between archers and mages, I definitely prefer keeping the range open.

The yearling elk are having noisy complaints at the fence because they’re probably not expert at jumping them yet.

Thankfully there was a bull elk at the back to at least keep the stragglers moving until all the elk were off the road safely.

Well, at least the sunset is pretty. …Of course as I’m typing this the evening winds start coming in.

With a couple days of “at least some rain” the grass has greened up again, which has made the local deer come around again a bit more often.

Cyberpunk 2077: Okay, I don't know what relationship bug I tripped into just now, but this is hilarious. @shepardcdr.bsky.social @seamoosi.bsky.social I romanced Kerry, but apparently saving mid-date has made them ALL show up? I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

Cyberpunk 2077: Dating Kerry, but saved mid-date. When loading back in the OTHER possible romances (Judy, Panam, and River) all loaded in too. If they weren't stuck inhabiting the same starting point I would've had some AMAZING screen shots to take.

I had no idea Cyberpunk 2077 was such an outfit-fest...so of course I've been having fun putting my V in clothes as I collect them. Haven't QUITE got a meta for them, but...putting 'em on as the missions feel right.

My Cyberpunk 2077 male V in a mix of yellow, green, and black clothing, jacket, and knee-high boots. What happens when I mix home town high school and sports teams' colors.

My "not too loud" mission gear on my male V. Mostly black clothing and boots, along with black vest, but white baseball cap (need to find a black one sometime).

Well, I've been doing "makin' some money" quests in Cyberpunk 2077, and my V now has several new looks... still can't take a screenshot with adequate lighting to save my life, but BOOTS.
